Second Preview of The Book of Archai
A few more excellent images and admittedly non-specific passages on the upcoming book...
To hold one in bondage is to let the other breath in eternity of She… Choose wise of flesh or Spirit, or He might exist not and cannot be… Does not the bondage of Ayin of the flesh, six hundred and sixty-six—the Beast—produce the ultimate solar bliss of one hundred eleven, drawing it down to the fields of Hod, where eight times it becomes a Christ?
– J.E. Cornelius, Dreams Notebook, No. 10
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
With illustrations seen by very few since they were originally drawn in the 1970’s, we are proud to announce the forthcoming release of The Book of Archai, a compilation that contains over 100 drawings by the late J. Edward Cornelius.
The Archai are the Gods of fire that reside in Atziluth, or the “World of Emanation”, which is the highest level of manifestation on the Tree of Life. In The Book of Archai by J. Edward Cornelius, they are the creative lightning indicated by the number 170, which also encapsulates the fall of Satan (Star) as lightning from Heaven. Jerry uses the term according to the eventual designation of archai as literally meaning “Lords”—not only in their capacity to provide the building blocks of creation, but who together were also the primary constituents of the Hermaphroditic Prince of Darkness.
The images themselves provide a vivid juxtaposition that transcends the theoretical, thereby lending the words and ideas presented herein an unspeakable and therefore invaluable aesthetic.
Many of the images utilize the imagery of the paths of Mem (Horus) and Shin (Set) flanking Hod-8, which is connected to the path of Ayin (Devil) emerging from the side of Hod leading to Tiphareth-6. A couple of visual representations are provided below:
A central theme is the creation of a secretion sacred and hidden in men of might and energized by Will and Enthusiasm to such an extent that the man appears to be possessed by the She Devil of Hell Herself, crazed beyond normality as the Beast He becomes. The illustrations of the Enthusiasm and seed of God in this upcoming text not only explain, but also visually represent, how one builds an island of God within the mind.
Love is the law, love under will.
